The Acorn Nursery was founded in 1977 and is housed in a large Victorian property overlooking the church and grounds of St John’s. We have been located in the Notting Hill area for many years and moved to our current premises in 1992. The nursery occupies the former parish rooms on the ground and basement floors. We have two large classrooms, two smaller teaching rooms and a private outside space bordering the beautiful Lansdowne Crescent communal gardens, which gives us the opportunity to venture outside to play and spend time in the fresh air.
